Texas isn't as hot so i would say texas aha plus i LIVE in texas xD

helprhome
I have lived in both!
AZ --- TX
Hotter --- Hot
Mountains and valleys --- Prairies wide open spaces
Normal people --- Taller people and TEXANS
Orange blossoms late FEB--- Pecans/Cattle-
longhorns/dust/horses
I liked AZ for the people --- I enjoy TX for everything
Smaller feeling --- Everything is big you can drive
an hour to get to dinner but,
it's an adventure.
Good Luck with your project!

I lived for many, many years in Texas and thought I wouldn't move. However, my husband's job took us to AZ, and I absolutely love it. I can drive a few hours to whatever type of scenery I'm in the mood for, there are certainly adventures to be had, and the desert is wonderfully mysterious.

I do miss being near the water, however I can drive to the coast in a few hours like I did when I lived in Fort Worth. The difference for me is the lack of humidity, which is a welcome relief.

I'll always love Texas, but I do enjoy living in AZ!

Arizona, because nothing bad ever happens there. There aren't any hurricanes, earthquakes, volcano's, tornado's, mudslides, blizzards, massive fires or flash floods. Maybe a sand storm or 2 but that sure beats having your entire house swept away by something horriable.

hey there.. well i dont know exactly what are your concerns regarding the 2 states you mentioned. As per living conditions and finding an affordable place to live and safe neighborhoods, I would say Arizona. There's this really cool real estate site that I visited recently that helped me make this decision. Not only does it have reasonable listings for houses and apartments, but it also gives an entire map view. We can also see where the cinemas, cafes, restaurants, sex offenders, grocery stores are in a particular area.
