The check is probably much cleaner than any money you handle on a daily basis.
I would take the first answerers ideas to heart though. There must be bad blood there with the tenant. It's best to try and figure out how to remedy the situation or a check in the buttocks will be the least of the problems you have.

If I were the landlord, I'd wonder what I did to make her so angry. Is it that I'm not handling the building as I should. Am I ignoring her requests to fix things. Otherwise, I'd handle those checks with rubber gloves on.
And no, it's not sexual harassment. If she were sticking those checks between the landlord's buttocks, then yes. |

Wow! That's pretty horrible. I would have her leave the check on the floor and then pick it up with gloves. I don't know what you can do leagally, and if she is that nasty, chances are if you confront her about it, the conversation might turn ugly. Is this a low income apt. complex? |

Deffinatly is, there is all kinds of stuff you can sue them for, that is if you think it is worth letting the whole world know about it.
If you feel vengence is in order you could talk to your housing lawyer and find out what you have to do for a raise in rent, eviction, leins, confinscation etc.
Other than that, i have to say HAHA, no to you, but to all those people that told me the "rental properties are the only way go"
If i had 400,000 sitting around i wouldnt spend it on a house to help out some people that cant affrord one for themselves. I would put it in a CD at 10 percent and just chill with my 3.5 grand extra income per month. worry, and more imporantly, tenant/poor people free. |

I would collect them with a zip lock evidence bag, that she would have to place them in. When the bank would not accept them, I would send her a late notice and eviction papers. |

I think its more of a case of assault than a sexual harassment case. If she is really doing that its more likely to spread germs and give you hepatitis than it is to turn her on. Get proof and press charges. Then start the eviction, because if its true this person is seriously disturbed. If thats not possible, then wear gloves when handling anything from this person? Start checking the door knobs and car door handles too - no telling what she is doing to them ugh. |
