Take a honeymoon. My husband and I have not had one yet. Or even a vacation in the last 9 years (since we have been together). There is a state park in Arkansas where you can dig for precious gems, and my husband would just love to do something like that. Admission to the park is $6. It is almost a thousand miles from where we live, and with gas prices these days.....

First and foremost I would pay off all our outstanding bills. Then I would pay my parents medical bills. Then I would buy some new living room and bedroom furniture. Next I would take my parents and in-laws on a vacation. They have all helped us so much. Then if there is any left I would put it in the bank to live off of, to help support the pay check. |

First, put it in a high interest earning account until I figure out what to do with it.
Second, start investigating real estate. Right now in some states, housing is slowing or even stagnating, good time to snap up a deal. And maybe even purchase land that looks promising for the next real estate boom.
Third, take a much needed vacation to a warm place! |
