put up flyers and online ad's...newspaper works too...make sure you SPELL out what you want in a roommate (non smoking, no pets, MUST pay 1/2 util., etc) |

Go to a hang out you like. For example a library, your fave book store, fave bar, fave cafe... find someone who looks like someone you would get along with and strike up a conversation. Ask them if they live anywhere and tell them your lookin for a roommate.
