When I sell my estate do I have to disclose the body in the back yard to potential buyers?
I didn't put it there. But it has been a problem. Digging it and moving it. Digging it up and moving it again. It has also caused a problem with my neighbor. Long story but, bottom line, he has tried to shoot me. Should I disclose his actions also to any potential buyer?

You are a funny guy. Funny as in witty. Is it a body of evidence? It is a strange story, but I can dig it. I would not talk about your neighbor unless he has a son of a gun. Don't shoot off your mouth. Know what triggers your outbursts. Don't get locked into one thought and don't get loaded. Just do what cadaver you want.

Sitting here contemplating this question. Also my navel. Have not had coffee yet. Can I come back to this when brain starts working again? Could be awhile, not sure it worked well in the first place.

No. Sell it and get the hell out! ( A shoot-happy neighbor, could be the reason there's a dead body! Get out before there's 2 corpses to dig up and move around.)

newmexicorealestateforms
lmao, you're in trouble. You don't have a burial permit and the environment department will need to talk to you. In addition if you get a permit you'll need to survey a burial plot and provide easements. Of course if the body is Billy the Kid you need to contact the governor of New Mexico.

memphis
no i would leave it as it is, i mean , for starters you're m,oving you want a new start, leave the body where it is, alot of work, as for your neighbor ,trying to shoot you, I'm sure if the new person do-sent stick his ******** IN THE GUN SLINGING neighbors wife's ***** then I'm sure he will have no problems.I'm serious, not joking.

OK lets see! was it there when you acquired the property and was it disclosed to you at the time or did you acquire the property not knowing it was there? And if you didn't acquire the property with the body on it , how did it get there, eh mister, how did it get there! Or, is this all just a big made up BS story to see what kind of answers you'll get! lmao! some night when you neighbor is out of town, I think you should wait till the middle of the night, and when it's dark you should take your little digging shovel sneak on to your neighbors property real quietly,{ he's got dogs! be careful!} dig a hole big enough for a body, dig up the body from your yard and dump it in his! Cover everything back up nice and neatly, get your " A--" back home, fix your yard so it looks like nothings been dug up and "sell" the freak in place before anybody finds out!!!! Oh ya , and "don't" tell anybody! Now on the "serious" side, {lol} I think when you sell a property you have to disclose what's on the property , but I wouldn't swear to that! I think I've heard stories of people digging up things on their property that they didn't know was there, but a dead body!!! You could always dig it up and take it with you! Be careful, it might come looking for you when you move! {lol}

only if he was buried without a license . If buried with a license you are fine . Hiope you grabbed his jewelry and gold teeth too - no sense in letting the worms have it and you might get more from a real macabre buyer . Some [people like that and are pumped up by it .

Du Hast mich?
Dave B my a**!!! I know you when I see ya Bob! Don't think I'm gonna keep my mouth shut about this sh*t either, it was your fault that ferret climbed up my a**. Tell you what, I'll keep quiet about ol' diedra in the back yard if you lend me your chevy for the weekend...

badotisthecat
depends on the state you are in.

in new york you don't have to disclose defects in the property unless specifically asked. It's called the doctrine of caveat emptor, "let the buyer beware."

ohlayd
ummmmm...here's a question.....what the heck are ya doin with a body in ur backyard to begin with>??>>>????
