I've heard of eviction notices for horrific grammar and spelling, but not for loud noises. I'd advise the person to ask someone in the office if it is a valid eviction notice. If not, that's a mean joke. |

Don't know about eviction notices for noise -
for non-payment they are white
Tax notices in my area are taped to the door and they are bright yellow |

Your question is not completely clear, but generally a notice of eviction requires very particular form and procedures. Just taping a notice saying "you are evicted" is unlikely to fly if it comes in front of a judge. Personal service, or at least a reasonable and documented attempt as personal service plus posting, is more typical of the rules of due process. Nevertheless, don't take anything for granted. Keep the notice and bring it to your attorney, rent control board, or tenants' rights advocacy group. |

its not the color that matters----it can be on any color.
It is the Content of the Notice....usually it is a 30 day notice to vacate due to noise.

What does the eviction notice say? If it looks like it is from the owner, read it over and check your lease or rental agreement to see if it is valid. It may be a prank, but it may be lagit. It all depends on what the lease mentions. |

They would be given warning first. Red-tagging.
Unless there are some extremely rigid by-laws and/or provisions in the community chapter that could side-step this warning of red-tagging, there would be no eviction without notice.
