Depends on the size of the property, the area, the facilities the house has, but the national average seems to be about £400 to £500 per month. In London you will probably get a flat whilst up north a 2/3 bedroom house for that.

What is asked.

As others have said, it depends on so many things.
Are you thinking of renting a flat or a house?
In which area?
How many bedrooms?

I know that in Leeds, you can rent a 4 bedroom house for £400 pcm.
Whereas in London, you can rent a 1 bedroom flat for £500 +

All depends on whereabouts in the country you are renting. There's a huge difference in price. Cities in the Uk you could be looking at around £500+ per month for a one bedroom flat. That's what i am where i rent. Council tax for me is an additional £100 a month. I think that's what you're meaning. You will also have to pay electricity/gas bills, phone bills, broadband etc.

it all depends on what size property ur renting, and the location of where ur renting... different areas have different prices...

it also depends on whether ur bills are included, whether the council tax is included, water, electric, gas, etc...

Hertfordshire... £550 pcm for a small (one bed) flat or bedsit.... Upwards of £750 pcm for a bigger flat or one/two bed house.

b
depends on what you are renting, what comes with it and where it is

You will be required to pay a deposit, one months rent in advance, council tax, gas/electricity bills, water rates/meter charges. The cost of these depends on where you rent, what you're renting and what utilities you use.

Down South where I am, you would pay approx £600 for two bed house with garden, plus utility bills and council tax.
