Theoretically, all the way down, but no one is able to go more than a few miles anyway. Be sure to review the title report, though, as this is the only way to make sure that this is the case with a particular parcel - there may be other parties that have specified mining or drilling rights. When this happens, someone else can slant drill all the way from another parcel to under your land. Many times this can be done legally - so again, review the title. |

Well it should go to the center of th eearth, only if you get the materials rights to the property. If not all you paid for is for the top soil which is normally 6-8 inches. When you buy land make sure you buy the minerals rights to it too. |
