I don't know how many arrears you are in, but have you tried talking to your landlord first? You must use debt as an absolute LAST resort.

Social fund- phone your jobcentre ask for social fund number then ask for a crisis loan if you work or are on the dole, a budgeting loan if ur on income support. If its a one time thing do that, if you lost your job or just cant afford it claim housing benefit- even if you work but dont earn enough you'll be able to claim part of it

Do this rather than other loan companys as the interest will be astronomical and you'll get into trouble with it but social fund dont charge interest or anything and are very understanding

If you are thinking about getting a loan, then you should know about the basics before you get started. If you understand the basic dos and don’ts of loans, then you will be better equipped to find the best loan for your needs. Whatever type of loan you are applying for, you should follow these basic rules to help you find the best deal. When searching for a loan, it pays to do your research. Look for as many suitable lenders as you can, so that you can find the very best deal. There are many online pages that<!--allow you to compare loan rates from a variety of lenders. As well as looking online, check out your high street banks and mortgage lenders for deals too. However, remember that if you ask for a detailed quote, the lender will have to look at your credit report. Too many lenders looking at your credit report can affect its rating, so make general enquiries until you are sure the lender is right for you. You may find the loan that you need here,

If possible, try and avoid taking out secured loans. If the amount you need to borrow is small or you have good enough credit to borrow without collateral, then do so. Although unsecured loans have higher rates, they are less risky because your home will not be at risk if you cannot make the payments.Try and take a loan out over the shortest period-->you can afford. Taking loans out over 10 years or more can be risky, and you cannot be sure what your financial situation will be at that time. Of course, taking out a long-term loan for property is acceptable, but is it something you really want to do just to buy a car or pay for a marriage? The longer the period of the loan, the more you have to pay back.

ms sensible

Don't. Pay the rent. Live on what is left. Bread and water if necessary, but don't borrow.

that sounds really dumb. mate best way is to ask your landlord for more time and pay an extra bit every month until its all settled. do you even have an income? If you agree a repayment method and stick to it, he'll get off your back. last resort? get a cheque book loan. but i must warn the rates are close to criminal. try the money shop

jo2
can you ask your landlord/s if you can pay up your arreas at a set amout?in the uk you may be able to get a crises loan from the council.hope this helps

shih tzu lady
You are getting further and further into debt. That loan will cost you the earth...... try a bank loan but get it paid off quickly.
