How do I know to know people that share the same interes with me. That like to socialize, come to my house, that accept my invitations, that love food, that is willing to share. I have come to the sad conclusion that even though I would like to have friends and I am a very friendly person, and even respecful, I do not push anyone, nor I try to bother anyone, but sometimes I feel so lonely. A lot of people these days are really wary of getting to know someone as all you ever see in the news is bad stuff. If you want to get to know people with the same interests, first decide what your interests are. Inviting people over to your house doesn't really narrow it down....if you love food then you could start a food club or join one in your area. If you like bowling, you could join a team. If watching movies is what you like, ask around and see who else does. For all you know someone could have a home theater. Narrow down your interests, pick a couple, and then join groups of people that do those same things. You'll never run out of things to talk about and you'll enjoy the company as they will most likely be similar to you. Goodluck, and don't give up! Sometimes it just takes some time for people to open up, so keep inviting people to things! |

The people these days don't give a hoot. I've notice no matter how nice you are to them they don't care. I am a nice person as well and when I invite friends over they always tend to have something else they rather be doing. I socialize with alot of people but I don't really call them my friend. You can't find good friends anymore no matter where you look. I only have like two friends that I talk to but We don't really hang out much because we all are in a relationship and work so it's hard to do something. I've been friends with them since middle school. It's life. |

with everything going on in the world the fact is a lot of people are just "too busy" to really listen or do anything more than what they already want to do. If you really want to meet people and make friends you could check out near-by clubs, hangouts, or groups. |

In order to meet people with the same interests as you, you need to go to places that interest you. If you like reading, and want to find someone who reads, go to a library. If you love sushi, go to a sushi restaraunt during lunch. |

Well, I know we all think we're normal, but are you weird? How do you dress, smell, hows your breath? Are you clingy and dont know it? Something is up.. If everybody does the same thing maybe its not everyone else, its you.. Or throw your hands up at them and go somewhere else.. You can meet people anywhere.. I just like having fun, and I meet people of both genders and all ages.. Doesnt matter whether its in walmart or at a bar.. Just have fun, you're all you got anyways.. |
