I'm looking for a location that's:
-Liberal
-Safe Neighborhood for kids
-Good School
-Good Health Care (Hospitals and Doctors)
-Moderate Climate (not too much snow/rain)
-Asian Community (preferably Chinese)
-Affordable homes and cost of living (comp. to nat. standards)
If you know of a place or live in a place like this please let me know the town's name. Canada is an option, but I would need very detailed reply because I am not familiar with the area.
Note: I realize California is the typical answer, but SF and SD are too expensive for the kind of housing we're looking for. I'm looking for specific locations rather than areas.

the suburbs are very safe especially Holly Springs
Cary has a pretty good asian population.
It rarely snows here and we are under a drought right now.

South Carolina, particularly the Columbia area, is a great place to live. I have lived here pretty much all my live and I love it. Columbia is a great place to raise a family. It offers a ton of activities to do, such as outdoors activities, cultural, and the like.
Here are some reasons that make SC a great place to live:
1- Weather - Average temperature is 65 to 75 Degrees, we have four season and usually no snow!
2- Cost of Living is low
3- No Hurricanes (very seldom)
4- Abundance of land
5- Low taxes/insurance
6- Location...Columbia is close to everything. It's about 2 hours from Charleston ant the beach and 2-3 hours from the mountains.
7- Hospitality...nothing better than Southern Hospitality
8- Columbia area is a metro area, big city feel, with small town charm!

Come to western washington, near seattle, tacoma or renton. We have wonderful weather, a little wet but its worth it for the beautiful green landscape.
We have a high population of asians, a lot of pacific islanders but its a nice blend of culture and people.
