Why are you opposed to having a professional represent your best interests in what’s potentially one of the biggest investments you will ever make?

I would suggest you go with a Realtor. Its no cost to the buyer (seller pays) and you can bet that most sellers are represented so why not take advantage of a free service and have someone representing you? |

Really there is no real good and dependable website for non represented sellers.
If you are wanting to buy houses like those "ugly house" people then you need to run some ads of your own.
If you are wanting a house to live in, I would drive around the neighborhoods I like and look for signs. |

There are a ton of FSBO websites out there, but since that market is flooded, I don't think any of the FSBO websites are effective. I like http://www.craigslist.org |

don't be fooled by website and photos which can be very deceiving because location is so important. you best bet, is to drive around the area you are most interested and look for the for sale signs. |

http://www.ReMax.com will actually give you the address.
Why would you buy a home with no Realtor?
Does not make any sense. |

******Hi I just wanted to let you know I closed my account located up above, This is my new active account just in case you choose me for best answer****Crosses fingers****
Your best bet is to look in the newspaper. Take your time and eventually you will find an excellent bargain. There will be someone who is looking for a quick escape..unlike other home owners who are waiting around for nibbles from potential home buyers, not willing to negotiate. Dont be a sucker....take your time and eventually you will get the better end of the deal. ALSO.......always make an offer approx. 20 below asking price. Dont be embarassed! Be brave, Be Condident...They will NOT be offended :)
TRUST ME I KNOW
I have sold over a dozen properties and always leave room for negotiation. Usually home owners mark the price up about 20-30 to guarantee they get the price that they want. Good luck to you!! |
