find out from Rightmove what has sold recently. Then phone the estate agent & ask what it went for. Some will tell some may not. |

HM Land Registry can provide the information at aggregate postcode level, which covers likely around 20 properties. Their information takes a couple of weeks to update, but gives a very accurate guide where sufficient property sales have taken place. If there's only one property sale in that postcode area, then you may even be able to find it out for the exact property in question. Most other sources of data such as upmystreet.com etc take the land registry data as a source. |

The other alternative (if you are looking to sell) is asking the estate agent OFF THE RECORD. Most will tell you! |
