Where would you live?
2 apartments....price is the same for both

Apartment 1....Third floor...right next to highway...faces highway and mountains...a lot of direct afternoon sunlight...someone lives above on the fourth floor

Apartment 2....2nd floor...away from highway so a little quieter...faces parking lot and other buildings...not as much direct sunlight...someone lives above on the third floor

Apartment 1 without a doubt, you need the view and the sunlight or it would get depressing.

Hey its Danny V

i like apartment 1 theres a good scenery

Tara
APT 1 sounds better :)

Apartment 1 due to the sunlight

connies mummy
apartment 1 defo due to the sunlight

Apartment 1 for me - on the 3rd floor noise pollution and air pollution is reduced, you face out to the mountains and not brickwork, and you get good sunlight into the house. With apartment 2, although it's quieter, you sacrifice a lot just to have that one thing. Either way someone lives above you, which isn't a bad thing. I've lived in lots of flats and i have never had problems with people living above me, other than the odd random party that went on too loud and too long. I'm just an old biddy though when it comes to loud music lol :)

Apt 1... The sunlight and mountains are good for me vs a parking lot and bldgs. Moving cars are better to look at than parked cars! :) In my opinion..

I'd prefer apartment one-gotta have a view if at all possible and afternoon sun will make my houseplants happy too!
If I was one of those people who worried about their car then I would opt for apartment # 2.

I'd choose Apartment 1. It's sunnier, and evidently less gloomy. =)

If you can deal with the noise from the highway, #1 sounds pretty good, just because of the mountain view.

The one who knows
Apartment 1. Sunlight is a must! I found that out the hard way when my mom and I moved to the place we are at now. No sunlight, well hardly any, and still noisy.

Linda K
Apartment 1! Give me sunlight or give me death! Or something like that!

rienkkuipers
I'd say Apartment 1, I would love to see mountains the moment I open my window. I live in a country where we do not even have mountains. Right now I am living next to a parking lot, I can tell, that really sucks.

scooter
That's a tough one, I think the view of the mountains would be nice but being farther away from the highway would probably make for better sleeping so I would reluctantly pick #2.

Kay
Do you live in a warm climate or cold one?
If it's a cold climate than I would go for apt. 1.
If it's a warm climate than I would go for apt. 2 since you'll have the window open a lot also at night....

.::A FINE FRENZY ROCKS::.
2!!! 2!!! I would just alert the people above me that I know martial arts. Hah. Good luck!

The highway noise and view is bad Feng Shui. Go with one that has the best Feng Shui.
