Which apartment should I get?
Apartment #1 Pros and cons

*Allows pets- I have a cat
*Larger, 2 bed 1.5 bath.
*Rent is 595 w/utilities
*Good neighborhood

Cons

*Farther away from school
*Cost more

Apartment #2

*Still large, but not as large, only 1 bed 1 bath
*It is a luxury apartment
*Rent is 550 w/utilities
*Closer to campus, like 5 min. away
*Has a more open floor plan

Cons

*Doesn't allow pets, and I am keeping mine, just thought i might sneak and have it?
*Only has 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom, but I am the only one living there

So, which do you think I should get? I love them both!!
Additional Details
The cost doesn't matter so much, But I don't want a roommate... I'm sure i'll have friends over, but thats it.

I would take the first apartment. For only $45 more a month you are able to keep your cat without worrying about getting caught, one more bedroom, and another bathroom. It is also in a safe neighborhood, which is very important.

One would accomodate your needs best.

haha
number one would be your best choice.

i think two but i ono if u will be able to sneak te pet in :S good luvk thoo :)

i think you should go with 1. you don't want to get the hassle of sneaking in a pet and if the rent is an issue, the 2nd room will allow you to get a roomate and split your rent in half making it lower than both apartments if you're by yourself.

Hawk:

My advice to you, as someone who's lived in apartments for quite sometime, is to, GET THE ONE ON TOP. I will never live underneath anyone again. To have people's feet trampling on your ceiling all day negates any of your "pro's" listed. Top floor is the way to go when living in an apartment. Cheers.

apartment 2 offers a lot of convenience. is there anyway you can work out an agreement with the landlord let them know that your pet is house trained and get like a letter of where you have lived before stating that your previous home was or is clean and the pet didnt mess it up. but not go with 1

Cameraguy
1 definitely. Sneaking in a pet is a good way to get evicted.

hEiDi
The first one. You get to keep your pet and you wouldn't get in trouble if the landlord were to find out. You have more room if you ever need it and its ALWAYS a PLUS when its in a good neighborhood for not that much more. Good Luck!

1 if you have a cat

sweetest_sin00
I would prefer the second personally by the sounds of it, but definitely be careful about the pet. Check your lease agreement on the pet situation, if they find out you have it you might get kicked out on your butt! A cat is pretty easy to keep under wraps tho, as long as your careful about who you invite in from other apartments.. if they gave away their pets before they moved in they might be jealous that you are getting away with keeping yours and report you to the superintendent.

Could you possibly find a room mate and split the first apartment? That way you can definitely keep your cat AND split your rent!

Good luck!

The first because it doesn't cost much more and do you really want to give up your cat?

If you sneak your cat in you will end up getting caught. Plus it sounds like a better place even though it is farther away then your campus.

apartment # 1

if they caught you with an animal they would kick you out. (i guess?).

i honestly think you should go with # 1.
plus it includes utilities, in my eyes that's a good thing.

I would get the 1st one! Sounds really good!

kelly123
the second one, you would save a lot more money and you could always sneak the animal around...its really not that hard.
i lived oncampus my sophomore year and it didnt allow pets but i brought my cat anyway. i was never caught and noone knew i had her...besides people who came over haha

Well I wouldn't try to sneak your pets in. They would probably find out, and would could get kicked out. Good luck!
