Definately Direct Debit!!!
You are charged for the pre-payment meters and they totally eat up the money you put on. When I switched over from the meters to direct debit I found I was paying Half the amount per month on both Gas and electric. |

Direct Debit...DO NOT USE pre pay meters as the cost of utilities is more per unit. |

You pay more for your gas and electric when you have a prepayment meter even though you pay up front. you are better off paying by direct debit. |

Always, DD with meter readings is better than prepayment meter. Do you not ever read/hear press comments on higher charges levied for prepayment meters by utility companies? |

Definitely direct debit. You also get a duel fuel discount if you have gas & electricity from the same company |

Usually by direct debit. Go to uswitch and see who is the best service provider for you. |

Dont go for prepay meters. We are just having ours changed for bill meters. The units cost a fortune on prepay (we spend about £30 on each per week) whereas when we had bills we were paying not much more than that per quarter. |
