Which is more fun: buying a house or buying a new car?
I am considering doing both right now, one or the other, actually. I find researching and looking for the right car to be
much more fun than researching and looking for a house.

I have bought several new cars, and while it is exciting at the time I have this nagging voice in my head telling me I will lose thousands of dollars as soon as I drive it away.
I am in the process of buying a house, and it is super exciting. I love looking at houses both in person and online. I start imagining how I will decorate and what changes I would make. The only negative is how stressful buying a house in this market is...loans are hard to secure, which has never been my experience with buying a car.
I'm sure once it is all done and I have moved into our first real home it will be totally worth it.

More fun? Car.

More practical? House.

Nothing like the feeling of driving your new car home for the first time. Buying a house is great too but its a pain in the *** also.

Caitie Sue
car because a house is stressful

Buying a new car. Too much stuff to deal with such as moving with the house. When you get a new car, you just hop in and ride.

You need to purchase a house if you are living in the USA this is your golden opportunity. Bricks and mortar is the best investment . a car can blow up, shares can disappear into thin air,but your house will be there when you need it ( a house will keep the wolves away ).Don't make financial mistakes

I haven't ever shopped for a new car, but house hunting is a bit stressful. I was relieved to finally find one and settle in.

**Star**
yes buying a new car is more fun

BUY A HOUSE!!!! With the prices falling and the economy the way it is, you should buy a house. The equity will go up soon enough and then you will be able to purchase a car with the money you made. make sure you get a good rate. research. a car only loses value, but a house will gain, soon and free money is more fun than ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

new car because u can drive a car and sleep in it but with a house u cant drive it

I would think a house, because then you can decorate it and really make it your own. Gardening, painting and what not, I like that stuff though.

House. It is a lot more exciting. specially, when you cant choose for two or more houses. But buying a car is exciting too. But a house is differently more exciting buying.

nix
house first, coz it is investment. Car is wasting money for gas n spare part. house is home. Car is transportation same like bus.

BOTH ;)

ill put it this way: try taking your house for a test drive and see what its top speed is. then you let me know if that was better than buying a new car.

$$V-G$$
a car. because a car is something that travels a house is just a place to live.

A house.

they're both stressful. it's only fun if you have a lot of money. =. but buying a house makes more sense because it costs more long term to rent a house than a car.
