Which state in the US is worth moving to?
I have thought about moving to another state cause WV isn't working out for me. Any suggestions and why?

Miss Know It All
Texas has a lot of jobs and you do not have to pay state income taxes!!

bofahs
Depends what you want. Georgia is great, but not if you have kids - worst education system in the country. On the other hand, the weather suits my clothes.

California is the land of opportunity. Texas has the prettiest women, Ohio has the coolest cars, you don't get allergies in Arizona, New York has New York, the center of the universe, Iowa has the friendliest people in the world and people in Oklahoma always seem to feel good about everything.

Just move, dude, it's all good!

if you move anywhere, don't move to California. It suucks. I hate it. but thats my own opinion. :]

depends on what you're looking for, here are some of my favorites:

the montana, idaho, wyoming area has beautiful land, fresh air, mountains, and lots of nature activities

the florida keys are warm year round, have great beaches and water

nyc & chicago have lots of action, many cultural opportunities and lots of different jobs

missouri has cheap housing, food, etc. so you could really stretch your $, and st. louis has lots of fun attractions

Do your research and find out where the best places are for jobs and compare cost of living to median wages in that state. Also you will want to look into the income taxes for that particular state. Also it depends if you want to live n a cold or warm climate. Don't move to Arkansas. The government there is raising taxes and the jobs are all leaving. Some dumb *** decided they would turn it into a retirement state and all the old timers are moving down from up north. They have an 8 billion dollar surplus thanks to the tax payers and they feel they have to raise taxes again. Plus the roads are a mess and housing prices are higher than what the average person making a living can afford. Every time you turn around another factory is closing or a business is leaving town. The government is too concerned with overweight kids and not trying to attract jobs to the state. Plus Little Rock has one of the highest crime rates in the country right now. Though if you want to try Jonesboro or Fayettville areas those are growing pretty quickly. Try Texas, Alabama, Tennessee. There is always California.

I think you will find that TEXAS is probably going to be your best bet overall.

I hear there's small a town in Alaska that's giving away land to anyone who wants it. They probably gave it all away by now, so...I dunno, I hear Hawaii's comfortable. Maybe you should move to Puerto Rico, it's still the US and I don't think they have to pay certain taxes down there. Most Puerto Ricans speak English too.

it depends what part of the state because every state has something good to offer somebody but at the same time it depends on your personality. most ppl up north wouldnt make it in the south and southerners wouldnt make it up north. that is not all but as a group of ppl. but if i had to answer your question with a state I would say Florida. Beaches, sunny weather, tourists, no cold weather

Georgia because theres hardly any crime and it's beautiful

Connecticut! Not only is it close to everything and a beautiful place to live (New England), but it's also the wealthiest state in the country. Jobs galore and great people!

I personally think Florida is a great place to move to because there are areas for every budget and scenery. And the weather is usually always nice, minus hurricane season.

Texas

- Low cost of living
- Thriving economy
- Nice weather all year long (except summer)
- Best NFL and NBA team in the world (Cowboys and Mavericks)
- No state income tax
- Friendly people/southern hospitality

If you are Muslim, don't bother moving to Texas. We don't want you.
