Trust me, it's possible. I know because I did it. Try the government funding agencies. I was actually very lucky because the agent that sold me this house knew where to go to get help for people like us. Do some research on the internet. Not sure which state or country you live in but I am sure there is help available. Good luck.

gain credit by other sources. There's a reason for credit reporting. If an agency were to give you a loan with nothing down and no credit, then why would we need credit reports? Don't buy something you can't afford. If you can't afford to put a few thousand dollars down, then you can't afford to make the payments.

Sounds like maybe it's NOT the best time for you to consider buying a house. If you have poor credit, you're going to get lousy interest rates, even more so if you have no down payment.

I think your best bet is to 1)improve your credit and 2) save up SOMETHING for a down payment. All in all, you'll be able to get more house for your money if you set up your financial situation first.

Good luck.

not so ordinary
If you can't come up with a down payment then you should not be buying a house. If you have anything but perfect conditions you are in jeopardy of loosing the house and destroying the little credit you have. Furthermore in our current economic environment of rising short term interest rates it would be unwise to the point of foolish to sign anything other then a fixed rate mortgage, which you will be unable to get with little credit and no down. Rent for a while and you can build up your credit and your savings.

Rent to buy schemes.

You pay it off like paying rent, but at the end, you own it!

if possible buy brand new as the pay 5% deposit, and then find a 100% mortgage for the price that's left that way it give you more money to play with hope fully it depend which company u go with but i know there are normally lots of other little extras with brand new home plus they have a 10 year guarantee. but look widely as some new homes are a lot cheaper because of there area but as there are new estates it does not mean there nasty.

There are many programs that let you do this. I have financed 10 clients in your situation last year alone. To make sure you fit the guidelines you need to start an app. I would stay away from brokers, find a good bank --like me (: to show you your true options.
