What in the heck is up with property owners starting to rent their homes out to low income renters?! That means I have to pay $1500 a month to stay in a descent area with people who get to enjoy the same luxury because they are poor and my tax dollars are giving them rent?! One neighbor I know of pays $1350 less than i do but she gets to have loud parties, show off the nice area to her project, gangbaning friends and family, block my drive way or have her company park in it and fight with me when i am in rage telling them to move or i will tow and keep me up all hours of the night because they play loud music at 1, 2am and talk as if they are shouting down from the top of Mt. Everest; when i have to be up at 6am!!!!! Is it just me or is this not f'ing right?! |

Call the police and file complaints. If they're trespassing by parking in your driveway, I'd call the police for that, too and have them towed. |

When you call the police it must be after a certain time for them to do anything. They can disperse the party goers but since you rent and not own you can not have the cars towed. If you tow a car you will be sued and then that is not helping your situation.
Take pictures, note times and days,take down license plate numbers and names if you are able to. Contact your owner and tell him as a tenant you have a right for peace and quiet while living in your home. That your right is being violated (show your proof) and since he is the owner you can take him to court for allowing this to take place.
Give him the courtesy to do something about it. He may not realize what is going on until you have proof. Tell him his property is being trepassed on and that you do not want to be legally responsible if something should happen, |

It is unfortunate that you have to go through this. I would have to suggest that you call the police and file a report every chance that you get. Let the property owner know each time there is a problem, pretty soon they will get the picture that the are not wanted there and move. People like them care about very little until the police become involved on a regular basis. If the police turn out to be no help after a few calls you should contact your local government agencies. Doing so will get things done that you may have thought was impossible. |

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with low income renters. I am a renter myself and on housing but that does not mean that I am ghetto. And I make it a point to tell my daughter not to play loud music late at night and I also take care of the rental property like paying a gardener to take care of the lawn and taking care of repairs. Your neighbors might be illiterate about the law. BEING POOR DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT YOU HAVE BAD MANNERS. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE WITH LOTS OF MONEY WHO ARE WORST. |

Man, where I live $500 a month will get you the best house and in the best neighborhood there is around here. $200 will get you a modest house still in a good location, quite,neat and clean, lots of parking and a garden if you want one. Kentucky |

lets take the velvet gloves out.you need to contact the police and file a report everytime there is a problem,then get the badge numbers of the officers and contact your attorney.tell your attoreny to contact the property owner about the problem.if the property owner fails to corrert the problem its court time and the loser pays the court and attorney fees.see how fast the problem clears up. |

I wish I could afford to live in a nice safe place like your describing....I have 2 jobs and my wife works full time as well....we have a seven month old and we live in the WORST neighborhood run by the crookedest slumlord and we pay $800 a month!!! Then again if you come from money and didn't have to REALLY WORK for it then I can understand your problem. So call the cops and go buy something expensive to make yourself feel better. |
