The joke about the stock market is "the secret is to buy low and sell high".
I guess it isn't meant to be a joke, but almost every one is scared to buy when things are low and almost everyone is to greedy to sell when things are high.
So, yeah it works in real estate also. if you can find a house you like and it is priced good then it is the best time to buy. |

Yes, so long as I could get a conventional loan. The housing market is low, so it's a good time for buyers. It might go lower, but eventually it will go up again, if for no other reason than that the population is steadily increasing, so people will continue to need homes. |
