Would you describe your "dream house" and where it would be located?

Paid off! Anywhere but paid off.

Mr. Tater Salad
It wouldn't have to be a big house, just one that utilized renewable energy such as solar and wind power. It could be located anywhere that would be practical for such uses.

Old renovated Victorian, there is one beautiful house 4 blocks away from me that I would kill to own.. 2 blocks from Lake Michigan, and right near my favorite hot spots. Its a duplex, so I would fulfill my dream of being a landlord, after dealing with so many, I know how to be a great one!

Hard word floors, turret, picture windows that are stained glass, such a pretty house!

I had my dream house. A 3br log cabin in the Colorado mountains. I lost it to foreclosure after I was injured on the job. My next dream house will be a small yacht so I can just weigh anchor, drop a depth charge and make a wake if I don't like the local politics.

A nice house next to a beach in Hawaii, want to go with me

Chuckles - conspicuous thumbs up
If I were to live alone, I'd want a small apartment in a block of flats. But a nice one, you know, and up-market... and no loud neighbours.
Otherwise, a normal size house I guess... enough room for everyone without being all big and drafty and spooky. And plenty of bathrooms!!! A huge patch of lawn out the front... overlooking a nice view. And the beach just a couple minutes walk :)
I do want a rich friend though... I can stay in a mansion once in a while, but without the responsibility!

Five bedrooms on the 2nd floor with 5 baths. One of course would be the master suite with sitting room

First floor, a real professional kitchen, TV room, family room, dinning area, library and sitting or living room. Sun room would also be nice

Basement would have a home theatre and a work our room complete with sauna and steam room plus showers and whirlpool. It would also have a pool table and bar area.

Outside it would have a western exposure over a small cliff would be a beach so I could watch the sunset at night over the ocean. With a lot of room around me for privacy

Hawaii

katzluvzvalentines!
I would be happy with a beach house anywhere on the shore.
