I do it all of the time, if I know it is vacant and for sale.

Princess fi fi
Yeah i allways do that when im looking for a place,as long as know one is living in their, why not. Ignore hubby

godged
Why not? I cannot possibly see any harm in it, unless the neighbors think you are a prowler.

Nothing wrong with being nosey. =)

reddaisy
yes I would look and so should you. As long as you know its empty, why not? Just do it during the daylight hours. As to not scare the neighbors

Quest
Does you husband shop for a car with the salesman leading the way? (<;

EvilWoman0913
I've been doing it my entire life. My parents did it when we were kids. Actually, when we were kids the vacant houses were often left unlocked on weekends so people could go in and look around. Unfortunately, times have changed and we're lucky to even find a vacant house with the blinds or curtains open so we CAN look in the windows.

just don't wear black and carry a glass cutter.

Coxy
Yes I would definitely look. If you dont like the look of what you see from looking in through the windows you will save your time and the agents time in taking you out to a house you dont like.

As long as nobody is living there. My mother will even go into the backyard if the house is vacant and she doesn't have to break anything to get into the backyard.

It is perfectly acceptable to look in the windows of a VACANT house. You may even ask questions of the neighbors.
