The landlord's insurance only covers his property and what he owns. Your possessions would need to be covered under a renter's policy purchased by you. Sorry to say, you are not covered for anything until you do purchase such a policy. |

Anything inside your place is your responsibility. Rentor's insurance for about $150/year covers about $10,000 in stuff.
