No.
The landlords insurance will cover his interest in the property (ie the structure and liabiltiy) - your personal property is not covered by his insurance.
You have to have a renters policy of your own.
If you did not have one at the time of the loss -- you are S.O.L. |

The landlord's insurance only covers his property and what he owns. Your possessions would need to be covered under a renter's policy purchased by you. Sorry to say, you are not covered for anything until you do purchase such a policy. |

homeowners insurance only protects the owners house.
Anything inside your place is your responsibility. Rentor's insurance for about $150/year covers about $10,000 in stuff.
Maybe your parents homeowners policy will cover you.
Ask dad/. |

No. That's why you have Renters' Insurance. |

No. This is why when you rent, you should purchase "renter's insurance" from an insurance company. The landlord's insurance will cover only the property structure. Not the contents. |

This is what renter's insurance is for. If you didn't have any, you are out the stolen items. File a police report.
Renter's insurance is $15 - $25 a month, depending on the value of contents you are insuring. |

YOU MUST HAVE RENTERS INSURANCE.
If the house burns down, the landlords policy would cover the house itself. But NOT!!! your stuff!!!! |

No, you will not be covered for posessions. Try Assurant for Renter's Insurance! I have them and they are wonderful. |

No. You need to have renter's insurance. The landlord's insurance does not cover your property. |

The landlord's insurance will typically only cover the structure and appliances. It will not cover your personal items. That is why people get renter's insurance. |
