My county in California had a waitlist which was open only one week a year and I always missed it because they did not advertise it. I went to another county and put my name down. It still took about 4 years, and after I got the voucher I was required to live in that county for a year, then I transferred back to my original county. I don't see why you cannot put your name on as many counties as possible. It is only an application and a waitlist. |

You are allowed to apply in both your county of residence and your county of employment. So, if you work in a different county then you live, yes. 4 years is actually pretty good, most counties are not even accepting applications. |
