When your tenancy expired it became a month to month rolling one. The landlord has given you adequate notice to leave so you should find a new place and move on.
Whether you agree or disagree is not really here nor there. The landlord has gone by the book and you need to concentrate your efforts on finding a new place rather than digging your heels in. |

This isn't something you have to agree with. You can not force him to rent to you no more then he can force you to stay if you want to leave. You are month to month, he no longer wishes to continue renting to you. You have no choice but to move somewhere else. He does not have to give a "cause". |

Your question is confusing: It sounds like you have a current lease that is valid until December 15, 2010 (about 6 months from now). If this is the case, then the landlord cannot force you to move out, just as you cannot break the lease if you wanted to. Neither you or the landlord can unilaterally break the lease. The landlord has no legal ground to make you leave, unless you have broken the terms of the lease.
However, if you are saying you HAD a lease that expired on December 15, 2009, then you are currently a month-to-month tenant and the landlord can give you notice to leave at any time without giving a reason. You are not obligated to him and he is not obligated to you.
Again, your question is very confusing. I highly doubt the landlord is making you vacate the house by July 15, 2019. Give some more facts, or at least clarify the facts you have already provided. |
