What can i do legally about my roach infestation that my landlord has known about for two years?
we moved into this apartment four months ago and since day one we have had roaches so bad i kill about 40 or 50 of them a day every single day (in the daytime as well as night). We have bought numerous amounts of traps baits and sprays and they are not working! we hired someone to come out and spray the place which had absolutley no effect on them! thats when we called are landlord and finally about a month later she sends someone and he does the same thing as the other guy! still this has absolutley no effect against them! in the four months weve lived here a terminater has been out six times and still nothing has changed! it just keeps getting worse and worse! i am out of money or i would of moved out the first week we were here! it wasnt untill a month after we moved in did we find out that the whole entire apartment building is infested! for two years the other tenats have been telling our landlord about this problem after two years she is doing nothing to get rid of them and actually is getting mad at us for complaining! I have never in my life had any any type of allergies, but for the past four months iv'e been living here i have had allergies so bad i started taking allergy medication becasue my nose is constanly running and i am sneezing every other minute! what can i do legally about this infestation??? PLEASE HELP we have tried everything!



ok to the answers that you guys left yes i have bought boric acid and belivie me i put it everywhere! that is not working either and as for my manager doind somethin about this? what sendind one person out in two years is doing something about the problem no sorry your wrong! also my neighbors have told me the person who lived in my apartment before me was the nastiest dirtiest person they have ever saw in there whole lives the described it me me as imagine walking into the worst dirtiest place you could think of well pictures it ten times worse then that! thats what they told me! thats duscusting now why didnt my landlord tell me about that. why didnt she tell me that the reason why everything including the floors was reinavated im my apartment because when they took out the carpet the stove refridgerator that they were black as night! why didnt she tell me that but im hearing about it from everyone else! why didnt she tell me that the whole building is infested with cockroahces oh yeah cause if she would of i would of never of got this place!!!!! and by the way yes we are very clean people but being clean people dont matter when you neighnors above you and next to you are infested with cockroaches!
