I started a cleaning business. I charge $75 for an average 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. I clean a couple houses for $40 for disabled couples. Do you think that's fair? What would you be willing to pay?
Additional Details
By cleaning I mean dusting, vacumming, cleaning the bathrooms and mopping the floors. I charge extra for windows. |

Your charges sound just right for an average home but some homes are larger than average and your charge should be according to size and what all you have to do.
Remember you and in a cleaning business and don't let anyone haggle with you over the charges. Let them know before you do the job so there won't be any misunderstanding when you get through. Some people will try to talk you down when it comes to paying you. And yes, $50 is just fine for cleaning a relatives home and no less. Don't let family take advantage of you. $40. for disabled couples is wonderful, you are a blessing to them. |

It all dependes on the mess.Real messy I would charge $150.Not so messy only $75.Yes please keep an lower price on for the desabled because that's were you would make the money.Plus alot of great friends. |

Your prices sound very fair. if u get any houses larger than a 3 bedroom I would charge $100-$125. |

Cleaning including, dusting, vacumming, steam cleaning or just regular? What do you mean by cleaning. If you give the full works, including rearranging furniture, then $75 is dam good deal.
I see it as, the boy that just cuts the grass makes only $15 or so, compared to the gardener who waters, cuts, plants gets alot more. |

i think it is very fair. but you also can mesure your set price on other bases to make it more fair , you can for example estimate a mesurement from 1 to 10 of hoe the house is already clean. because some people will have tidy and easy to clean houses will others live in total miss . will they pay the same ?! even if they have the same # of rooms or bathrooms or even the same size of the house . |
