You can get rich selling lemonade on the side of the road, but that doesn't mean its anywhere near an intelligent way to do it. Same for MLM.
MLM at its best is a sales position. MLM at its worst is earning money through a ponzi scheme (signing up others). MLM companies predominantly put the focus not on selling enough product to make a living on your own, but doing minimum amounts of sales yourself and making money by signing others up.
You can make money, but the likelihood of sustaining it just doesn't add up. You always need to have more and more people coming into your organization or those at the bottom begin to quit (why would they stay in if they are not making money). And if the bottom starts to quit, then it quickly works its way back up and before you know it all your work getting a downline is gone. So, the only way is to continue to grow. However, doing simple math shows that is not possible, since even a 2x2 matrix exceeds a billion people by its 35th level. So, is this what you want to work hard to achieve...a giant structure than cannot grow? Not likely. Not if your intelligent.
There are countless ways to get rich. Building a downline is among the least intelligent ways.
Don't be fooled by those MLMers who will jump to the conclusion that i am just some negative person (or call me any of a bunch of names), the reality is those people are merely refusing to address the simple flaws I just pointed out and taking the easy path of trying to tear me down instead. |

Out of the thousands of companies operating the vast majority are legal, I estimate there are probably about 20-30 good companies and about 5 great companies. You should look at the following six things to rate them
1. The over all company and what there mission is.
2. The timming in ther companys lifecycle and the timming of marketing the specific products the company offers.
3. Marketplace trends
4. Unique product
5. Compensation must promote helping others
6. and a simple system to tie it all together
If you join a medeocre company or a good company, dont do any research and are looking for a get rich quick sceme you will fail miserably and spread the word as to how horrible the industry is and what a scam it is, but of corse it was your falt for not doing proper research and/or not working hard enough. The average person that joins MLM does no research , gets in on pure hype, works on average less than 10 hours then quits because they are not making millions. Then claims the industry is a fraud and a scam.
Will mlm make you rich? If you find a great company and work very hard at helping others get rich, then yes you can make yourself rich by using the vehicle of MLM.
If you are serious about the indusrty I would educate myself to all types of companies and study the 6 factors I stated above. The average professional that makes a six figure annual income goes to college 4-8 years and studys their field. If you are really serious I would recomend AT LEAST a good solid year of research (Approx 1000 hours) if you plan to make a six figure a month income in this industry. |

all depends on your method and willingness to be involved in it. Most ideas change so that you need to be able to move from one comany to another. it could be profitable but it could also be too expensive. if you need to do something that is reasonable, find what you want to do in life first. Then let the money come in any way that it supposed to + some extra effort on your own to over reach your goals. |

MLM is a vehicle that you can use while building your net worth. Rich people focus on net worth, poor people focus on their working income.
Personally, I believe just about everyone should own their own business, be it full-time or part-time. The first reason is that by far, the vast majority of millionaires became rich by being in their own business. Secondly, it's extremely difficult to create wealth when the tax man is grabbing almost half of everything you earn.
When you own your own business, you can save a small fortune in taxes by writing off a portion of your expenses for such things as your car, travel, education,and even your home. For that reason alone, it's worth having your own business.
If it resonates with you, network marketing can be a dynamite vehicle for wealth. But, and this is a big but, don't think for a minute that you're going to get a free ride. Network marketing will only work if you do. It will take training, time and energy to succeed. But if you do, incomes in the range of $20,000 to $50,000 per month-that's right, per month- are not uncommon.
In any case, just signing up and becoming a part-time distributor will give you some excellent tax advantages, and who knows, maybe you'll enjoy the product enough to offer it to others and end up making a nice income to boot! |

Honestly ALMOST <--key word there. ANY MLM can make you rich IF and ONLY IF you work at it...and do it non stop It's like any diet can make you loose weight if you follow it exactly.
Always key factors...
1) Is it easy to promote
2) Is the product amazing
3) Is help & support readily available.
4) Does the Pay compensate for the effort involved.
Again anything works if you DO it in most cases....:)

You can get rich doing almost anything (except work for someone else) but only if you are willing to work at it. The secret to a good MLM business is in the product, the management and the compensation program. That is the start, then you need to follow the system that the marketing department and your upline has put together for you. Remember that the person who got you in and their sponsor should be available to help you succeed. After all, they are making money off your efforts just like you will off the people who get in after you. |
