Yes. I have been involved with various dropship businesses since 2003 in addition to other online commercial ventures. Since I have a lot of family, friends, and business colleagues, I have been very successful with this. What makes it legitimate is that the items actually do get dropped shipped and I don't have to maintain inventory. Be sure to check the company out with the Better Business Bureau. They have an online website at bbb.org.
There are some you can get into for under $100 and some that cost about $200 and include a website, an email address, et cetera. You don't have to do any setup. They also allow you to sell on Ebay using their templates.
However, there is another one that offeres you a lot of educational materials and seminars online to help you with your selling. They have a monthly rate. You can pay for a full year, but the monthly allows you to take small bites to see if you want to continue with it.
Also, you may think of typing from home, if you have the skills. Court reporting companies are always looking for skilled transcribers. I'm not sure what level your typing skills are, but if you have them, consider this. These businesses pay well and some even do direct deposit. You may want to stick with your local area, if you like to pick up your check in your hand. You can find court reporting companies in the phone book. Call them up, tell them what your skill set is. Some ask you to take a test, but most are just happy to have a skilled person. They are generally very receptive to someone like you who is pretty settled and dependable.
These are just two examples. I would suggest you invest in Entrpreneur Magazine, sold at most newstands and grocery stores, and find something that you like to do. But these are a few that I know to be legitimate because I've succeeded with them.

There are jobs out there for seniors and plenty of them . No one can refuse you because of your age . Unless you prefer a job sitting on your butt at home . |
