In many states, ALL you need is a worker's permit. then you can work where ever you want, as long as they will hire you. You DONT have to be 15 or 16 or anything.....
You can get a worker's permit at most schools or community centers. Ask your guidance counselor at school. And look up your state's current ordinance about this.
Good Luck finding a job! |

At your age i wanted to start making money but wasn't able to because you have to wait to you get your National Insurance card through. You get this 2 months before your 16.
So i did a few hours of babysitting a week which i was getting £7 an hour, i would suggest babysitting for you. |

Depends on your state's child labor laws. |

In some places it is 15 with a workers permit and in others you have to be at least 16. It all depends on your location. If your family runs a business then you can work there. But try mickie D's they always hire!! Good Luck!! |

I think you should at least wait until you're 15, there's not many job opportunities for 14 year olds. And even if you do get hired anywhere, due to child labor laws you won't have the ability to work very many hours therefore you won't be paid much. |

16 Or you could be a paper boy/girl. |

It varies by state but you usually have to be at least 15 or 16.
If that's the case in your state you could do babysitting or something like that. |

I think it's 16 but I am not sure.
You could always make things .. like arts and crafts. or do chores for your neighbors |

I would wait until you are 16 (if you live in the U.S.) There are a lot of laws and restrictions about where you can work, how long you can work per day, how many hours you can work per week etc. It's a pretty big headache and most places will not want to hire you. When you turn 16 the restrictions are not as tight. I would suggest someplace like Bob Evans or other diner-type places. You can serve and make tips at these places where most restaurants will make you wait until you are 19 or 21 because they serve alcohol. Don't try and grow up too soon! See if anyone in your neighborhood needs a baby sitter or dog walker. |

well most states have an age 15 limit. Which means most people have to be at least 15 years old to work. You could make money by having a yard sale. Or you could help someone out in your family that has a job. |

Heyyy!!!!!

15 or 16 really depends where you live |

idk if this would be an option for you but im 14 and i have 3 babysitting jobs and i also walk a dog. the one babysitting job i do 2 times a week or more and then the other one i do every so often and the last babysitting job i around twice a month for church (but i still get paid). and then dog walking i do 3 times a week or more. for babysitting i get paid $7ish an hour and dog walking i get $6 every time i go. with that im actually making more money than my friends who work at actual places. you should look into doing something like what i do!!!
hope i helped :) |

In most states the minimum working age is 15 or 16. Look it up online by your state. |

You can't get a proper job when you're 14, most places say you have to be 16 at least. If you look older you could tell a fib or there are alternatives. You could help out your mum or dad with something and ask for money or you could babysit for close relatives or friends that don't mind your age. :) |

Start by doing small odd jobs for family members, painting, mowing, car washing, baby sitting or helping with a family business. Then move on to trusted neighbors and family friends. Between everyone that you know you will have a business going in no time. |
