Well, you can never go wrong with coffee! But you probably have lots already..You could have a toy shop, with snow toys...A place that would be enjoyable in theevening, like arcade, or something when the snow days over! Good Luck |

When i travell i want to learn about the country im in the real country. Not just the buildings and museums and other places where you are taken to by tourism agencies. That is why i loved it when , while in China we were taken to an old womans house. It was very authentic and traditionall and for me that was the best part of the whole trip. It could be a good idea to show the people inside the homes of the residents |

How about a cafe/gift shop that focuses on "everything warmth." You serve hot coffees, cocoas, and teas, and you sell crocheted and knitted hats, scarves, mittens, blankets, and afghans made by local artisans. You could display and sell handmade quilts and candles. You could also have hot soup. You could have a big fire going in a stone pit in the middle of the room. Everything could be very rustic. You could even call it something corny like "The Warm Heart." |

B&B's, tour guide, selling souveniors, attractions, reatuarants, bars, etc.
The main thing is you want to attract the tourists with something unique to the area and always mak them feel at ease.
Good luck. |

i don't really know about cold touristy towns but i guess restaurant would be a good idea because tourist don't cook and people thinking eating in a hotel is lame but if you were in a warm touristy town, then a cafe would be awesome. |

Bars are always successful in that type of town. Make plenty of room for snowmobilers to park. Everyone's lookin for a party in a tourist town.
Big money business and a good time for you too! |
