Make sure your butties are the finest in the land! Unlike Subway, who have jazzy adverts and funky shops, but whose sarnies really aren't that good. If you're setting your shop up in the Hull/York area let me know, I'd be happy to come along and sample one of your finest! |

LOCATION: should be close to business area, the public will buy from you but most of your money will come from the lunchtime rush.
Staff: make sure your well covered for the rush as people will not come back to you if they are spending half there lunch waiting
Prepare: Make up popular sandwiches before hand so you are ready.
Advertise: Get mailers to the local business's. Hand deliver and introduce yourself as hopefully they will get to know you and its good to go face to face.
Consider a mobile sandwiches business potentially more customers.

Location should be your top priority. I have seen well known franchises go out of business because of the location they selected. Make sure foot/car traffic is high, and that you are off a main road. |
