If you go along the route of pile it high, sell it cheap (like ASDA etc), you should be on a winner.

I know of people who've gone through charity shops and bought designer clothing cheaply then sell them on Ebay and made Â£2k in a year.

Ever heard of Freecycle? There should be one in your area. Use the link below to find your local Freecycle group and register with your Yahoo ID. Freecycle is dedicated to keeping good stuff out of landfills. Rather than dump good stuff in the garbage people simply it give away.

You register for Freecycle, watch the 'OFFERED' items or place 'WANTED' notices, go get the items, and then sell the best items on ebay. As the items are free the costs are just your time (weekends), fuel (during pick-up) and the ebay / Paypal fees. The buyer pays the postage costs. The rest is profit. It's a neat money making hobby.

The trick to being successful is to do some research on ebay hot items and then pick out several niches, then work them over repeatedly on Freecycle. Try specific items such as electronics.
