Honestly, yes, a lot are. Everybody would be doing it if there was any honest jobs you can do at home.
Very very few are legit. |

Obviously from all the posts you can see that they aren't all scams but not every business model is going to work for "you" either. Either you'll be constrained in a home based business having to learn something that doesn't suit your interest or you lack the technological skills to get it going or worse yet you have a site that doesn't get any hits at all. For as many negatives out there, you've got just as many positives to counter it. I would try this http://www.the411onhair.com/work-at-home.html the page gets you thinking about whether a home based business is right for you and the approach isn't all that intrusive. Good luck with it. |

I own my own Pampered Chef home based business and I LOVE my job. The company has been around for over 30 years and is definitely a legitimate business opportunity. I've worked in business and as a teacher and was surprised to find that Pampered Chef treats me and my family with more respect than either of my previous jobs. I was also surprised with the extent of training and support, both local and from the national office, that is available to the consultants.
It is very inexpensive to start up a Pampered Chef business - $155 for the kit - and many new consultants start making a profit immeadately. I chose to do things a little differently and didn't start making a profit for a few months. My Dad taught me "you have to spend money to make money" so I chose to make some investments that would help build my customer base quickly. I also had a baby right after I started so I didn't work consistantly during that time. Now that I'm really focusing on the business I am making some money. My next step is to earn more than just commissions by building a team.
If you ever want to talk about starting a business in Direct Sales just send a note to me at heatherkrey@rcn.com. |

There are many scams out there but there is scams in all businesses and in life too.
Getting educated is the key.
If you are looking for success in any area find someone who is getting the results you want and find out what they are doing.
That goes for any area in your life. Health, wealth, relationships, parenting or finances. For example if you wanted to make money in the stock market. Why would you ask for advice from a stockbroker who makes all his (or her) money selling stocks, but never invests in the stock market themselves?
If you are looking for a scam you will find one. If you are looking for answers. Find out how to evaluate a business on your own.
You can start here to learn from someone that has been doing it for over 26 years and is still in the trenches and teaching the truth today. Get your free ebook here.

There are a few real jobs out there, though finding them is very hard. Be careful while you are looking because there are a lot of scams. I had to dig through quite a bit of trash before I found the company I know own my own business through.
I wanted to stay at home because I am going to be having a baby soon and with my own business I also receive free benefits for me and my family, free training and the support of people who have been where I am and are successful in their business today.
This is a great opportunity that doesn't require you to sit at home all day, but you also don't have to ever leave home if you don't want to. It can be worked on the net, in your community, however you can think of and because you own your own business, you get tax writeoffs as well
If you're interested, you can contact me personally and I can tell you more and answer your questions or you can check it out for yourself at their site. |
