Are there ANY REAL work from home jobs out there???

Seems alot of people have asked this question, and those answers have got me no where. I am tired of scams, and I have to work at home due to certain aspects of my life. Someone please give me a legitimate answer!

The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

Recipe

Serve these pancakes with butter and syrup.

2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

they are out there. MOST are scams. most of the ligit jobs are in the secretary positions. A friend of mine does this. a company sends her things in e-mails and she has to edit, re-type, and send them in or make graphs, ect. She gets paid well for doing this. She's also able to have a few "clients" that she can work for. The companies like it because, even though they pay her good, it's still cheaper for them. One thing to look out for are places that want you to pay upfront costs. you don't pay to work, you work to get paid. if you have to pay it's a scam. try looking online for virtual secretary positions. I can't give you an exact website, but hope I helped in some way.

The only 'real' work at home jobs I know of are with employers (like the U.S. government and other big corps) that support and allow 'telecommuting' work- that is, really working at your job from your home office.

Other than that, if you want to work at home, you need to start your own home-based business or small business. For example, there is a company that sells baked 'treats' for dogs etc. It literally started by two women who started baking wholesome treats for their dogs (and friends' dogs) in their home kitchen. Once they started giving them away, people started telling them they should sell them, so they came up with a business plan and now that small 'home-based' baking business is booming and making good money. Of course it is no longer 'home-based' but you get my drift.

If you want to 'work at home' you have to come up with an IDEA...and it will be a service or product that you cannot easily find...a niche market. These 'programs' to show you "how" to work at home are themselves the real money makers for the purveyors of such scams. "SELL" wholesale jewelry, etc are all come-ons to get $$$ out of your pocket. No doubt SOME of those that buy into those scams MAY make some money, but those are people who would make money doing anything because they DO have the drive, ambition, and the tenacity to stick with it.

Stuff like "home medical transcription", stuffing envelopes, "finding student loans" and so forth are just rip-offs.

In short, ANY 'program' that 'shows' you how to make big $$$ at home will usually require a large financial investment $100 or more) up front. Don't buy into them.

You are probably receiving a lot of information about possible work from home jobs. I have been in your shoes and have spent many hours online researching and trying to find the right one. The one thing that I ended up figuring out is that there are no true work from home "jobs." In a work from home job you usually start out working for a company and then for whatever reason, sometimes, the company will let you take your job home; thus work from home job. I would never pay a company to work from home.

However, there are many work from home â€œopportunities.â€ These opportunities provide you with the vehicle to work from home and build your own business. The difficult or frustrating part about finding the right opportunity is that there are many offers that are not legitimate, but scams. Theses scams make it difficult for the companies that truly offer a legitimate opportunity to work from home. Usually, work from home opportunities have a small investment to start your own business. These are okay as long as they are around $100, anything much more than that and I would stay away. Also if they require a monthly overhead to run the business it should include things like your websites, training, back office system, and support. Remember any business that you start and want to continue will always have start up costs and monthly expenses, if it doesn't then it is probably not a legit business.

I am a stay at home mother of 2 (ages 4 and 2). My husband works 6 days a week and I do not have much help in the area of child care for my children. On my journey to finding the right work from home opportunity I tried everything from selling vitamins, lotions and many other product based companies. I also looked into processing information online. What I realized with all these companies is that I usually put more money back into my business and ended up with lots of product I really did not need. I also was very skeptical of some of those online work from home websites that really never got to the point of what I would be doing to earn income.

You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free. Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising. I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

I've given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.
