I’m a stay at home mom of a 6 month old son. I work about 15-18 hours per week for a National Medical Benefits Company. In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work I have seen people make anywhere from $500-$2000. And your income will increase each month because we get paid residual income as well.
The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit and a benefits package. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me.

This is a business, an inexpensive home business of your own, where you are your own boss. Our start up costs are less then $30 bucks and we get SO much for that. Each month we cover only a very small portion of what it really costs to run our businesses, the company pays the rest for us. Including all of our web sites, training, materials, 401k, direct deposit, medical benefits and more. Great Question.. and as you may have already found out, there is just too many companies out there.
I too was looking for a way to supplement my income so after careful researching I decided to join a company called Global Domains International. Their website is really easy and most of the marketing is done for you. You can sell any domain to anyone that may need it, not only WS but all of the other ones.
The best thing about GDI was that I did not have to do any direct selling and the cost was almost nothing. I currently have some team members that reside in Australia, UK, India, All over the United States, all over South and Central America, so this business is truly global. There is a 7 day free trial period but then after that is just $10.00... 10.. not even enough to take a friend to the movies. Most sites will require you to have a credit card to join, GDI doesn't, they have partnered up with Paypal to provide and easier and safer process of their members payments.

I also stay at home with my 9 month old. I've spent some time looking for legit work from home companies. Here is what I've found from personal experience.
I currently work for chacha.com as a guide. People text questions to chacha and I use chacha quicklinks and the web to find the answer. I enter the information into a form, site my sources and get paid for doing it. ChaCha is a legitimate company. I make .10 - .20 an answer. It's not massive amounts of money but I make a few hundred bucks a month. It's a great part-time job because I just log-in whenever I want to work. There is no charge to work for them but you do have to pass a couple tests to prove you are qualified. To apply or for more information you can visit becomeaguide.chacha.com . Your welcome to use me as a referral but a referral is not needed to apply. For a referral just email me and ask.
Another option depending on your skills is freelancing. You can use sites like elance.com or guru.com . guru.com is nice because it is free to sign up as a basic member. There are hundreds of jobs in all areas that you can bid for.
There are legit data entry jobs out there but the legit companies have a 1-2 year waiting list. Never pay for a data entry job. The only exception to this is some legit companies ask you to pay for a background check.
When it comes to network marketing I have tried working with AmeriplanUSA. They are a legit company but I hate calling people and feel like a telemarketer so it doesn't work well for me but for some this is a great home business.
When thinking about using a site to make money I use ripoffreport.com to make sure they are legit. This has saved me many times from getting scammed. I know chacha has one report on them but they also have thousands of employees and one report doesn't mean they are a scam. Ameriplan also has some reports on ripoff report but they are all currently being disputed by Ameriplan. So use ripoff report at your own discretion.
