The work from home jobs that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of forum.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

Hope it helps! |

Its very very difficult to make a decent income while doing data entry or other work from home jobs, and you're unlikely to get the names of genuine employers in a public place like this.
I'd recommend doing a search of the previous 'best answers' on yahoo, I got some good information that way. |

If you are an accomplished typist - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a "certified" graduate typist, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.
Good luck! |

Hi, I am a single mom with no other support then myself for my son and I. Scott is now 22 months old. I searched for a legit job and came across alot of scams, I finally found one that worked with a company that has been in business 23 years and was awarded the Hall of fame award by the BBB for Business Ethics. I am a Small Business owner but I needed more income, this has proven to be a blessing to my family. I made my first check in 1 month and have made 1 every month since I started and I only work it part time 20 hours a week. Let me help you too, Go to my website for free information.
Thanks,

There's two different ways to have a job and work from home. One is a home based job. There are quite a few different industries that offer different positions working from home. However, you will only receive minimum wage earnings. That's all home based jobs pay to start out with. After taxes are taken out, your looking at your take home being below minimum wage.
The other way you can have a job and work from home, is to have a home based business and run it out of your home. You have the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses and costs way less to start. Most home based businesses cost under $500. Almost everything in your home becomes tax write off's. Things such as your telephone, Internet, cellular phone, electricity, gas and down to car expenses. There are several different industries that you can have a business within a business and make an incredible amount of income. However, it's a business not a job and you would have to build a business to the income level that you would want it to be. It's not that hard to do, it just takes a little bit of time to build a successful business. Most home based business cost under $500. Plus you have the same opportunity to make the same amount of money, higher profit then you would in a traditional business.
If you put in the same amount of time you would at your normal job, it won't take you that long to build a business up and make a sufficient amount of income. About the same amount of time for your first check from your ordinary job, which is about two to four weeks, depending on if the company you work for has this waiting period that a lot of them do, where you actually work 3 to 4 weeks before getting paid. It usually takes about two to four weeks to start bringing in an average income. Four to six weeks to increase that. (I don't know any "job" that gives you pay raises this quickly), and about three to six months to be self sufficient. Again, this is based on the effort and time you put into it.
Most people start their business on the side if they don't have a cushion to live on while they build their business because they have full time jobs and run their business on the side. When their business reaches the income level they desire, they put their normal jobs down and continue with just their business's income. |
