Yes. But, most of the legit ones are ones you make yourself, such as making your own website to sell things you grow or make, or independent contracting of your services, such as graphic design ,programming, consulting, etc. There are some who turn existing "normal" jobs into telecommuting jobs.

There's a few transcription jobs, which is what most seem to be asking for: "What jobs are already available that I can just apply for and work from home?" seems to be the real question. These number propbably in the very low hundreds, though, while people looking for them number in the hundreds of thousands... so the chance you'll land one is about nil.

I'm not sure if you are familliar with Google AdSence (which is shutting down at the end of august), but they used to offer Pay Per Click advertising. People then created websites with articles which provided information about a "keyword". Then each page of the website was optomized around its individual "keyword" to improve search engine ranking. The AdSence code was placed on these web pages (sometimes thousands of pages).

No product was ever offered, only information that was already available elseware on the net. The difference was the search engine ranking that these AdSence sites were getting was better than the people actually selling the products.

How they made money was so unbelieveably simple, it kills me. People who visited these sites "Clicked on the AdSence Links". The web site owner was credited with the referral and these guys made $300 or more a day on "auto pilot".

So why am I telling you all this if AdSence is shutting down?

The Google Affiliate Network for advertisers is targeting users located in the United States. Similar to the AdSense Referrals program, the Google Affiliate Network enables publishers to apply for advertiser programs and get paid based on advertiser-defined actions instead of clicks or impressions.

Here is how the program works now. Someone clicks their ad, buys their product, and they pay only for qualified conversions. How can this make you money? Someone clicks the ad on your site, buys the advertised product, and you receive a commission on the sale.

Google is trying to do attract quality publishers and drive more sales.

If you posess any advertising skills I'm sure you can generate quality ads and reviews about products and make money on the Google Affiliate Network just like the people did with AdSence.

The difference is Google no longer pays for clicks or impressions. Payments are now made on a cost-per-action (CPA) basis. So a simple article or "blog" loaded with AdSence code will no longer work. Quality ads are needed by experienced publishers to get actual buyers.
