But, so many of these claims are false advertisement ads that make money from people 'paying' various fees to get information and/or supplies to get started. Only to find out nothing works or is so complicated to establish!

I've asked this before and looked into many, and I can tell you most are scams. I recommend watching kids from home, you're there anyway, plus so many moms need daycare, I used to charge $100 a week per kid, think about it. Can you handle 4 kids plus your own? It's great income and gives your child kids to interact with. Plus you can pick and chose who you want to accept. |

I'm a guy, not a mom...
But one of my jobs is for a Market Research company in Canada. Think of it like a call center...but it's not...
(You're not selling anything...and you're getting paid FOR YOUR TIME)!
We're hired by major US and Canadian companies to call and ask how things are going, how they went, what happened, what would they like to happen. Stuff like that.
It's basically surveys.
You need a computer (which you obviously have)
A headset to hook up to your phone (which arn't that expensive)
(no worries....there's a program you use that connects your computer with your phone...of course no physical dialing...or long distance charges....the system makes the calls for you)
It's not a get rich quick thing...
it's an actual job!
It doesn't pay the greatest.... (I have other jobs)
BUT
$10 an hour for sitting at home drinking beer, not using any gas....and no DRIVING back and 4th time...ain't bad!

I wasted tons of hours and even some money trying to find online jobs. I found all to be scams.
I talked to a Dog Breeder who signed me up to buy Natrual Dog Food and I loved it and than decided to sell Natrual Pet Food myself. Kind of like Mary Kay but not as stressful.
It is not an easy quick money scam. It requires work, but you can do it on your own hours and actually make a decent income.
I distribute business cards, flyers, talk to Pet Rescues, Breeders, Trainers and Vets etc.
Also do some online marketing.
This is the only thing that really worked for me.

Also if you like Make up or Food there are companies out there you can do the same kinda business, which is all Network Marketing. As long you actually work on it you can make a full income.

Well, I am a WAHM who wanted something easy and 100% legit! So, I spoke to a few WAHM and decided to give AVON a shot! Now I am an Avon ISR, and all I do is drop brochures and ppl call to order! Its truly a company and brand that everyone knows and love.. I DO NOT do parties! that was my #1 requirement - NO PARTIES, but I do have ppl who want to show their friends and family the brochures...
By the way its only $10 to start up in person, and $20 if the kit needs to be mailed! That is nothing....
I'm not a 'Sales Person' who tries to get sales because AVON & MARK sells itself, I just leave the books, except the calls and place the orders... I make between 20-50% in profit... I just order brochures and toss-out (like a newspaper boy).. I toss the catalogs in driveways, leave them in stores I go into, pretty much everywhere... Its a good income and fun!

This might not answer your question specifically but it is more of a common sense answer. Yes. There are thousands of possiblities for a stay at home mom to make a income. The golden question always seems to be "what do i do?"
Obviously you would use the internet and get involved in some kind of sales from home. I sreiously doubt you'll get the perfect answer from here and i think your best bet is to thoroughly research the net yourself for something that would work for YOU, because only you can what kind of schedule you have and only you know what your daily routine consists of.
Do the research, and remember that there is no such thing as instant financial freedom, because those are usually scams. Believe it or not, 99% of the time, it takes money to make money. Business owners will tell you that it takes about 3-5 years for them to actually break even and make moore money then they put out a month!!! Hard to comprehend huh?
As a business owner myself, i promise you that nothing is free, but if you have a good idea and family support, you can turn that idea into profit with a lot of hard work. The million dollar question is "what"??? What can you possibly do to become a stay at home mom working from home. Good Luck ;) |
