There are some excellent home business opportunities available today. However, what you have listed is NOT home business opportunities. These are home "jobs". There is a major difference in the two.
If you are looking for an online "job" then you should NEVER have to pay anything to work for these companies. But if you are looking for a home business, then you will be required to make an investment. Nobody is going to help you start your own home business without you investing something into it.
Just remember that online "jobs" that actually pay you to work from home without having been employed with their company at some point are rare to non-existant.
You will get all sorts of links to this online job and that but very few of them actually pay anything, especially with a few hours of work per day. I tried the stuffing envelopes, data entry, surveys and paid-to-read email programs and I have yet found one that actually paid and in some cases even costs money to participate.
I wish I could be more positive because this question is posted a hundred times a day at least!
If you want to work from home, you need to decide if you want to continue looking for online "jobs" or if you want to look into some home business opportunities. Whatever you decide to do, be sure to research the companies to be sure they are legit. There may be side work you can do for extra cash but judging by this forum, they are very hard to find.
Any home based business is going to require that you invest at least something to get started. You are purchasing a business and cannot expect to get a viable business for nothing. Period. If you were to buy a store, franchise or restaurant, you would not call it a scam if they asked you for money to buy this business. The same goes for a home business. You might be surprised to find that the investment is very low on a home business, and if you are serious about doing the work involved, you would see a profit right away. I have run many home businesses and all of them required a start-up cost but I always earned back my initial investment and started to earn profit in a short period of time. |

There are a number of "home-based" jobs, "side-earners" available all differing in the success and time required to actually make any sort of money.
Ones to watch out for are those that require you to pay to do it, pay to find out etc as these are unethical and generally the business is to "get your money" not help you earn it.
Most envelope stuffing jobs have fallen by the ways side with Business Reply services offering alot faster turn around, with higher quanitities and lower rates using machines.
Data entry is hard to find, most advertised on the net are merely another list of potential sites that may hold these types of jobs, some are just plain cons.

I agree... it is very hard to find something that works! However, 3 years ago I found one! I did have to invest a nominal amount of $ - but I got products that were awesome and everyone can use for 6 times what I actaully spent and the best part was that I broke even by hosting my business launch.
