Are there really any jobs where you can work from home.?

The biggest problem with a home based job is exactly what it says it is a job, but is more likely to be low paid and with no certainty of continuous employment, with those uncertainties and the tax disadvantages I could never recommend a home based job.

If however you wish to create an income from home, then a home based business is ideal. The biggest advantages are working hours that you can set to suit yourself, the opportunity to leverage time through the efforts of others, and significant tax advantages.

There are hundreds of possible businesses, but a business requires some capital to start up so I would recommend looking for one that requires less than $500 to start, but remember it is your business and it will only be successful if you are prepared to put some amount of continuous effort into it. It will take some time to build and get an income flowing, so I would study all opportunities very closely and see if your choice has any bonus schemes which can act as cash flow as the main income stream grows.

With most businesses it will take 2-4 weeks before the first income may be received, but that is normal, in fact most home based jobs will only pay monthly. But with a business the income should increase quickly as the weeks progress, in fact it is possible to be earning a significant extra income within 6 months and be financially free in 2-4 years.

I have seen some people answer people's "how to earn money" questions on this site by referring them to such things as "Project Payday" and some other similar quick money schemes. I think the reason they are responding is because finding other people to do it is part of the way you earn money.

I did some research on Project Payday, and it is not as easy as it looks, and if you're not extremely careful, it could cost you.

If you ever want to know more about other people's experience with these things, type in business name (Ex: Project Payday) and Review. You can find forums that tell you more what it entails without having to join, and people's remarks about their personal experience. It makes it all look so easy, but you really have to be careful.

If you want to earn money from home, I would suggest thinking of something creative that nobody else has come up with to sell, or, write a book about something you know about---there is a book at Amazon titled "Damn, Why Didn't I Think of That".
Ebay selling and dropshipping is also an option--people selling everything from electronics to yu ghi oh cards to bed sheets. Also, the craft business in America is a huge industry. Have you ever considered growing bonsai trees to sell or wood carving? Some people earn money from having a website. Maybe you are good at math and could offer math tutoring, or guitar lessons or repair people's computer problems. Also, you can make money by having a webpage on squidoo.com.
There are so many possibilities.

Yes, there are lots of home-base businesses out there. I have a home-base business myself, and my husband and I are very successful in it.
