Well there are volunteer jobs, if you want them. Working at an animal shelter, etc.
Baby-sitting is a great way if you really want to. (pet sitting, for me)
I think mcdonalds, etc., are really your only great options. If you wait until your 16 you might get a few more options, but I'm sorry. Life's not fair the way they judge people by age. :( |

Well, you can get a job in a little Mini-Mart. Or you can go to a gym and be an equipment helper. You see I am from Brooklyn too and My first job was at Key Food, I don't know if it is still around but that was my first job. You can also look around for Secretaries or helpers. My father worked for NYPD as hif first job, he transfered notes and paper work to other peoples office when he was 15. Maybe even 14. |

That's a good question. I should be thinking the same thing.
Maybe you can work at:
-clothing store.
-coffee shop
You should go around and ask some of the people that work at the stores. I think you have to be 18 to work at Starbucks. Most of the jobs require you to be 16 though.
Hope I helped! =] |

Try a corner store or a grocery store of some sort, either stocking shelves or being a cashier. Any form of cashier job is easy, and managers tend to give these jobs to younger people because the pay is often lower. |
