i live in a small village and i do very hard paper round i have 200 papers and loads of leaflets i get pad very little for all the hard work i do. i cant quit it unless i find a better job. i hate this job so much i dread doing it each week but i have too becaus ei need the money to pay for my phone bill and too go out with my mates when i want.i hate asking my mum and dad for money i feel so guilty. i am a very hard worker. i have tryed other jobs like babysitting and dog walking i even went on a babysitting course but that didnt bring me any luck. im 14 years of age and iam fed up of my stinkin paper round please help me out and find me a better job |

hey there,i live in a small town and i had the same problem as you. what i and a lot of othere kids is go round houses with a bucket and sponge and offer people to wash there cars for them. just be really polite when you nock on the door. try not too rip them off. c-ing as your young they will be more likely to let you clean there car for a small charge just cos they admire sum1 of your age going out and erning your own money.with evry customer you get,give them a little leaflet with your name and number so they can contact you egen.
oh n just make shure you clean it really good.have something you can dry the car with like an old dishcloth to wipe it dry as to not leave water marks.n bring a form of scraper to get all flies off front number plate,just make shure not to scratch it lol hmm cnt think of anythin other tips atm. good luck tho |

you should speak to your parents/
there is no way that i would have my child continue with a job they hate just to get a few pounds.
your parents should tell you to quit your job
re your phone curtail your use
your a hard worker and thats good but you dont have much options at your age/good luck |

Check out a local supermarket/grocery store and see if you can be a bag boy or maybe check into a car sales place to see if they might need someone to wash their cars. Or maybe a salon/barber to sweep up the hair and general cleaning of the place. Good luck!! Ü |

with summer coming up. look in the paper there are always landscapers who are needing help and you won't have to wake up as early and you can come out with a nice tan |

I delivered papers as a kid too. But nowadays, here in California, someone 14 is unlikely to deliver because of insurance, liability, early morning perves, etc. At your age, you're quite fortunate and smart to "want to" work. It will serve you well as you age. Here in San Fransisco, kids your age only want money, without having to work.

i've never heard of a paper round. i know of paper routes. i don't think at 14 you have much to offer, other than what you've tried. experience and age make more $ sometimes. your time will come |

mcdonalds hires at 14 (at least they used to). it was my first job, and was actually quite enjoyable. |
