$5 is way to low for 3 kids, I pay my bb sitter at lease $8 for 1 kid per hour.
I would say 10-15 / hour is good |

you should get at least $10-12/hour for 3 children! |

I would tell them like 8-10 an hour. Three kids at that age is hard work |

I used to get paid 10/hour, i know thats high but i have heard of people asking for5/hour plus$1 for each additional child. For example 3 kids would be $7/hour |

It depends on where you live. Where I live for 3 kids $5 is a good price. It depends on other things too. Do they pick you up or do you drive? Is it at there place or yours? Who's food do they eat? |

ten dollars minimum. 5 dollars is under minimum wage. i'd say 8 dollars an hour plus 2 dollars for each additional kid. when i sat for 2 kids ages 2 and 4 i was paid ten. you're getting ripped off. |

Depends on for how long. Those ages you should get 20 for say 4 hours. so 5 bucks and hour for 3 kids. |

$5 an day?!?!?! or hour??
Either isn't right.
$10/$15 an hour. If they aren't happy they can find a nanny who will charge double...
Another good way to up YOUR value: take a CPR course. |

Depends how old you are. When I was 16 I agreed to babysit the neighbors' kids...they were the creation of satan himself! 3 Boys, 6/8/9 Yo's. I had to call my girlfriend at the time (member of that family) for help! But I got £10 a night. You are definately being ripped off!....so was I..... |

$10 an hour is the national average....don't take a penny less then that.....even the mexicans illegally invading this country are making more than $5 an hour doing harder work.
but, think of what else you're getting that's priceless.......
it's probably the best birth control you'll ever get, watching three insane children.....just think about what it would be like if they were there 24/7 and you couldn't get in the car and go home?
don't say yours won't act that way.....that's what my parents thought, it's what i thought when i had mine, and it's what everybody thinks when they have kids. they will act that way. you have almost no control of how your kids will turn out lol....... |

I usually take $40 from family for babysitting two bratty 8 and 10 year olds who literally play with my one year old's toys and break them. That's for an overnight stay at my house. I'm underpaid, I know so I put up my rate to $50 per night. I think you should charge per situation. Overnights should be more (in your case, about $75 per night). During the day, $7 an hour is reasonable for watching three kids, you're giving the parents an enormous break! If it's just for one kid, you probably have less work since they won't fight with siblings, so I 'd say $5 per hour is acceptable for one of the three kids!! Good luck, always discuss your rates BEFORE you babysit. |

i charge 10 for 1 kid 17 for 2 and 25 for 3 and hour.....i babysit in a rich neighborhood so depending on where you live. Maybe $20 and hour for all 3 kids if you babysit in a regular neighborhood.
