When I was a teenager I needed money to buy my class ring so I went around to homes where I new elder folks lived and I would ask them if they would be interested in paying me to wash dishes, vacuum floors, dust, etc... I made good money doing this. Good luck! |

advertise at the public school, library, grocery stores and clinics, these are great places to look and alot of the times in the summer many people are loking for high school kids to sit cuz its cheaper than a daycare. just make sure you advertise as a student looking to earn extra cash this way they know you are not licensed but ready to work.

My neighborhood had a newsletter that went out twice a year so we put our names and numbers in there in a special babysitting section. We just had to call the person who did the newsletter and she gladly put it in for us. If you don't have the opportunity to do that you and your friend should make up flyers or business cards and put them on your neighbors doors or mailboxes. Just include your name, number, when you are available to babysit, and possibly how much you charge. I hope this helps. |

You should put up flyers in your town anywhere you think mothers may go. Have you taken a class and/or CPR training. This will get you more customers. Also, once you start sitting, always ask the parents if they know anyone and if they can give out your card for referrals. Your card doesn't have to be anything fancy, you can make it at home with a template on your computer. Good places to post flyers (make sure they are bright and look "happy") are grocery stores, coffee shops, diners ect. Just make sure you screen people over the phone, like ask how old their kids are, where they live ect. to make sure no weirdos call you. Good luck, once you get a few good clients, more will come! |

How about a dogwalking service? Market your business with some 3 cent doorhangers you could put on doorknobs. If you get too many responses you could hire employees. |

if you want to make money get a job at the mall selling shirts or walk dogs or @ a convience store.... or cleaning peoples / neighbors houses/ shoveling/raking/washing cars

Look in your local newspaper..ususally there are advertisements of people looking for babysitters. Also ask your parents and your friends parents if they know anyone with children who are looking for a babysitter. This is a good option because then your parents can put in a good word for you. If word gets around that your a good babysitter you might be able to obtain a few babysitting jobs and get a decent amount of money. If you save, you can reach your 300 dollar goal in no time. |
