well in between 5 and 10 dollars an hour. but its more depending on how many kids. you dont want it to be too expensive cuz then you wont get any work but dont charge too little either. i just babysat for one famlily. i got 5 bucks and hour for 3 kids!!! it was rediculous. i watched them for 5 hours and had to cook them lunch and all together got 25 dollars!! now thats a rip off!!! just do what you think is reasonable and what the parents think is good. and it also varies from family to family for me. depending on how the kids are and such..so good luck hope this helped!!!
answer mine please!!!

I usually charge 7 dollars an hour.
Sometimes 20 dollars for a 2 hour evening.
But I always make sure that the house is cleaned up before they get home, just so they feel like they got their moneys worth. |

10-15 dollars an hour...lean more to 15 if you have a car and have to drive to them because of gas prices. |

If people care truly about their children, and as long as your fees are not ridiculous, they should be willing to pay you AT LEAST minimum wage. I don't know exactly what it is right now, because it will change, but I would start at $7. The longer you babysit for a family and show that you are responsible, you can raise your rate to 7.50 or 8.00. Good luck! |

Charge them $20 per hr. They will respect you, and think you are valuable. |

The average rate for a college babysitter in a metro area in the US is $10-12/hour.
If you have more than two kids, consider raising your rate to $13-14/hour.
If your sitter is younger than college-age, expect their rates to be around $8 lower. |

Depends on ages...daycares charge 4.50/hr at the highest rate for one child. I'd charge that much for anyone under 2 and then lower it by .50 cents as the age gets older and the child get tamer. I pay my babysitter $4/hr for my infant and it seems reasonable to me...Hope it helps. |
