The best internet/home based business to get into is one that is centered around your interests/passions. Depends what you are looking for. There are hundreds of home based business.
Ask yourself : Why are you doing it? More money? More time at home with family? Want to be your own boss?
Your answers should dictate what sort of business to consider...ie If you are looking for more money NOW? Then network marketing might not be a good option as it usually takes 6-18 months before you see any decent income.

Lots of scam out there but there are also legit ones, just hard to find the right one. Only thing that worked for me is selling stuff. I have an online yard sale. You can check it out at www.freewebs.com/jvreece to get an idea. I also sell in ebay and www.gogreenauctions.com.
