Business idea, What Do YOU think?
I have this idea. I could find private contracts and advertise. Things like bathroom redone, kitchens redone, carpets etc..

I got the idea because I just got Empire carpets. I thought the guys in blue would come and do the job like they show on Tv. Nope. I had 2 Spanish guys with a beat up van show up.

So what do you think?

I asked this question before and got 1 answer. I would really like to hear from you guys.

It's called being a sub-contractor and yes - it's a very good idea. Most companies that provide a service use sub-contractors.

If you're asking if its a new idea, then no. In fact, its how the entire construction industry works

too much competition and you can be sued for idea theft

- try something like union that recommends private contractors to people - you do all the deal making and you get paid 2X - contractors premium and the people who want to use your company

Sounds good. But you have to figure where you will advertise? How much the cost will be to you? How much will smaller companies be willing to pay for your service? And how effectively you can reach potential clients that need a service? I'm not trying to discourage you, just make sure you cover all the P's and Q's before you get started.

If you are saying that you would advertise for the Spanish guys to make them look better? I think that is a great idea!! We had new granite counter-tops installed and the same thing happened to us... I actually sell commercial insurance and I was talking to them about their contracts and no one really markets to them directly... they are forced to go with their GC... like Home Depot or Empire Carpets.

i think mabey and interer desighner but really you need to think about what sort of qualitys you have and how would fit a job. if you find this hard then write a list of jobs you would want to do .for example mine would be... ( to help think of what things you love to do...
mine is i love animals so i would so

1.stable hand
2.vet
3.horse ridding teacher.
4.rspca person
5.zoo keeper
6.dog trainer
7.wild life presenter
8.dog groomer
9.vets assistant
10.wild life expert

then choose 2 that pay the most and put a * by them
after that choose 2 that intrest you the most and put a x hopfully you will have some left cross all them out so you are left with 4
do the same again but with one this time.
you should now have 2 to choose from
