Ebay shop sellers make good money and you will only need to be able to get to a post office to make it work.
You will need stock of course, a lot of people buy from charty shops things that they know will sell. Designer brand clothing, womens scarves, handbags, brooches unusual jewellry etc and then put them up for sale to make a small profit. The buyer will pay the postage so you just need to make sure that the ending sale price is more than your original purchase price.
(I suggest you buy womens items if you do this, because they are the main buyers on ebay !)

Look for a vacuum within your community and fill it, try and find out what is in other communities and see what is missing from yours and try and fill the Gap. You may need a bigger bankroll but if the banks won't help you perhaps a business man, who appreciates good ideas and hard work, will. At thirty five you are mature and experienced, why not try and get people to pay you for your advice? Perhaps by studying and improving your life, young people will want to know your secrets. There are online courses to become a psychotherapist and there are very few in small towns.

Do you drive? If you have a knowledge of disability modified cars, this can be a good job.
There is a guy lives in our area who is in a wheelchair and he modifys cars for people of all disablities. I think he started it himself and seems to be very successful.
I`m not sure how you could get started with this idea though.
